Round Robin Writing

Today my class and I had learnt a new writing way  it is called round robin writing. It was so much fun we would have to get a group and find some paper. First you would have to put a picture onto a paper and then you would have to start the story off. It will go around and around to the other groups and the best part about this is that the other people have to try and finish off your story. It was alot of fun doing this writing I hope we get to do it again.

Protagonist

Protagonist was the word for our day. We had to read a Maori Myth and then write about the protagonist in that story

Maui is the protagonist in how Maui slowed the sun. He is a god with lot of tattoos around his body .Him and his brothers want to go and find the sun to slow him down because every time they eat it is always night time and he would always get upset. He is very nice to his people he would finish of his chores and if they needed help then he would lend them a hand. He is a very nice person in my opinion.

I have accelerated in my maths because I am started to focus more and I am trying my best to learn my time tables. At the end of the year I will try my best to achieve a 4A or a 5A. To get these result I will try to learn all my times table try and find some challenging maths games.

I have not moved because the reading had gotten harder but i did manage to maintain my position. I will like to achieve a 5B since i have gotten a 4B.

My writing has deccelerated in term 2 but I have maintained my position  in term 3 I think the reason behind this is because i really did not get the understanding of an explanation writing but now I am starting to write a variety of sentence. Next term I will have to write more sentence and use more powerful sentence because I really don’t know what to put down.

I think I will have to try a lot harder if I want to achieve my national standard

Let's Taco Bout it

Yesterday my class and I were doing some puns. If you look closely then you will see that it says lets taco bout it. If you don't get the meaning of it is if you are hiding something and you want to talk about then that is the meaning

Matific Games

Today my class and I have began to play a game called matific it is a maths games which gives you random math questions. It is a lot of fun to play this game but sometimes I will have to try and test myself because there will be some hard questions that I will not know.  If you complete the math game without getting any questions wrong then it will give you five stars but if you get more than one wrong it will give you three of four stars. There is also a daily limit which is if you get to one thousand point then you will get the golden card and you can choose from five cards and it will have a character.

Helping Mr Hendricks

 

This week some boys and I had been helping Mr hendrick move some logs. As you can see in the picture  it is a very big  and it was very hard. If we couldn't left up the the log then we would have drop but most of us we ignore the pain and try to carry on but we wouldn't get that far. If we couldn't hold the logs up then the adult would have to help us carry it. It also made us miss out on most of the work.
